That's cool! I'm jealous of how much she gets to travel (heehee jk). I would love to travel! I think I might be going to St. Petersburg in March, but I'm not sure yet.
I wish I could have heard that radio show. i love all of the CW's accents! They're so cool!

Oh, my gosh! They're so cool. I love the way the REALLY Irish people sound. the ones that have Gaelic as their first language. I love the way Enya says "film" it sounds like "fil-em". And the way Orla says Orinoco Flow.....Oh, my gosh! I love it. heehee. Chloe's accent is so sweet and pure. It matches her so well!! It's so cute!!
Has anyone heard Roma Downey's acccent (....or know who she is?)?

I've heard her accent, actually that's the first Irish accent I've ever heard. I'm planning to study abroad in Ireland. I'm gonna love to hear them talk!!!!
It's funny to think that some people love our accents.

What accents?
Just kidding
Mary, I would be over the moon to study in Ireland!! Ireland was my first real trip abroad and everyone said, Oh it will be easy to start with an english speaking country. They may speak english in most of Ireland, but they use synonyms for many, many common terms. I was keeping a journal of the trip so I created a glossary and incorporated it into the virtual scrapbook I made a fellow traveler.
Know what chippings are? How about a black spot?
You can work out what they are saying, but between the musical accent going up and down when you don't expect it and the synonyms it does take translating.
Anyway, bet you come home with a brogue!

It's funny to think that some people love our accents. Oh, my gosh! There are SO many American accents! Each state has a main accent and then individual city accents!! (well, most states anyways). Visiting the US is like going to different countries each time you enter another state! I actually started to study some in my theatre class. They can be hard to say. We've just finished the standard English Dialect and I think Irish is next!! It's so hard to do. WHich is why I want to learn the language so I can figure out why some things are said the way they are. Chloe has a very light Irish accent which almost sounds a little British. It so fits her ^_^ (Roma Downey Rocks!! heehee ^_^)
