Celtic Woman are booked to appear in Dublin at the Point on February 8, 2006. They will again have the full orchestra and choir. Will this show be another CD/DVD? Will songs from the girls solo albums be a part of the playlist? Will Meav rejoin for an appearance in this home "special" and is that a good thing or has Dierdre earned the right to be featured this time?" Will the songs be all new? If not which are the signature pieces that you want to stay a part of CW? Do you see the Dublin concert as a victorious wrap to a very successful US run or hope it is the start of the next version of Celtic Woman...or both?Share your thoughts

wow! Nice questions!!
1) I certainly hope so since it will most likely be the same as US, although it might have new songs. (that would be stinking amazing) 2) Most likely...or new stuff that they wrote. 3)I HOPE SHE RE-JOINS!! AND I HOPE THEY LET DEIRDRE STAY!! 4) I think some of the old songs will still be in the show. You gotta keep some of the classics like The Soft Goodbye and You Raise Me Up. 5) I see it as more of a victorious wrap since Ireland hasn't been able to see their stuff much. Although they might just keep the new songs from the tour and add new ones to the playlist.

1. I REALLY REALLY hope this show is on cd and dvd. I'd buy it the day it was out!!!!!! ;D 2. I hope so! I love the songs on their solo cds. Plus it would be great to hear some new songs. I'd also like to hear the new songs that were in the fall tour. 3. It is definatly a good thing if Meav is in the new concert. Especially if Dierdre is there too. All six of them together would be fab. ;D 4. I hope the songs aren't all new. I love the ones they have now. I would love for them to keep Somewhere, The soft goodbye, Ave Maria....wait.....I love them all!!!! I wouldn't know how to choose 5. Both!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Regarding the solo CD's... ...did you actually know that a majority of the songs on the CW CD were originally on the girl's solo CDs? Chloe recorded Walking In The Air, Ave Maria, Nella Fantasia, and Someday Between ages 12-14! And other originals liek Send Me A Song and Siuil a Ruin were originally on solo CDs

I knew from trying to find their CD's that many of the songs are on their CD's. I also think there are some new arrangments but not being musical I couldn't say which one are which.
However, the girls and David are working on new material so I thought it might be mutually introduced through CW and I think David will write more music for them.

Michael
CW can't keep adding songs, they have to end the concert and move to the next location. what do you think about this.
Will the songs be all new? If not which are the signature pieces that you want to stay a part of CW?

Well I assume it is a possibility that they may need to
1.) Update the tour programme of course 2.) Add maybe a FEW new songs, and detract some old songs...I'm not saying they will...just saying its a slight possibility.
I definatly think IF they felt they wanted to add new songs and detract old ones....they might get rid of the ones they feel are "less popular" even though they are all popular in my eye! ^_^

Jan,
Very true! But you know when they do come out with their second CD....I assume it will be in the fall...and they WILL do a second CD they have told many of us in person so....I do think they may do some more performing after that, I'm not sure...but they will have to drop some songs.
Thats if they do more performing after the second CD of course.
